CBD Dosage for Cats

CBD Oil for cats

CBD oil is safe for cats and can be used without worry. It’s important to remember that CBD oil is pure CBD, meaning it’s made from hemp which is a non-psychoactive plant. This means that it won’t get your cat high and doesn’t have any of the negative side effects associated with THC.

How many drops of CBD should I give my cat each day?

It depends on the concentration of CBD oil you are using and what you are using it for, so it is better to measure it by mg of cbd.

Generally, most cats require between 8 and 25 mg of CBD per day, depending on their size and condition. Small cats tend to need around 5-15mg, while larger cats need between 15-30mg.

Also, you must consider how severe your cat's condition is. For general wellness, calming and relaxation, and joint support we recommend administering dosages towards the lower end of your cat's corresponding dosage range. For more sever conditions such as epilepsy, severe pain or joint problems, severe anxiety or recurrent stomach issues then you would go towards the higher end of the corresponding dosage based on yur cat's weight.

With all that said, this are just general guidelines, and as a pet parent you should monitor your cat's reaction and increase/decrease the dosis based on that.

Can something go wrong if I give my cat too much CBD?

There is no over dosis of CBD, and it has no side effects, so there is nothing to worry about. The most it could happen if you over dose your cat is a little diahrrea or he could fall asleep (in which case you will decrease the dose next time).

With all that said, you are ready to improve your cat health with CBD. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comment section below.
